Gary Fox and Fox Country was founded in 1975 by Gary Fox. The band played all over Texas, at venues such as the Crystal Chandelier, Lakeside Ranch, and the Kountry Klub. When Gary was married in 1980, his wife Teri joined the band. After their kids, Jennifer and Justin, were born, Gary Fox and Fox Country became a family band. The group performed at Peel Country Steakhouse in Waxahachie, Texas for fourteen years until it closed down in January of 2007.
Currently, Gary Fox and Fox Country plays at Pit Stop BBQ in Reagor Springs, Texas from 7 - 10pm each Friday night and at the Texas Best Smokehouse in Italy, Texas from 12:30 - 3pm each Sunday. The band is also available to sing at other venues, such as clubs, private parties, reunions, weddings, and grand openings.
Although their specialty is old country and western, the band can play anything!
Old rock and roll, gospel, country - you name it, they can play it.
The band recorded a CD, Live at Peel Country Steaks, in April of 2001. It featured their single, Same Old Heart. Gary Fox and Fox County are working on recording a new CD very soon.
